Senator Bong Revilla Says Ramona's Action is a Sign of Guilt

Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla says he was shocked of the actions of his sister Ramona Bautista in his live interview with the Bandila, ABS-CBN, November 4, 2011. Ramona Bautista fled to Hong Kong without telling her family, which seemed to everyone as fleeing from the murder case of his brother Ramgen Revilla.

Senator Bong Revilla said that Ramona's action indicated a sign of guilt of the crime.

When asked if he was able to talk to Genelyn Bautista, Ram and Ramona's mother, he said that Genelyn did not talk to him because she is angry with him for turning over RJ to the police. He then explained that what he had done was necessary in order to do his duty as a public servant, saying that "I am not a senator of the Revilla, I am a senator of the country."

He claimed that Ramona told him the same lies she told to the police. Sen. Bong was shocked about the turn of events. And, based on his tone of voice, a hint of anger and disappointment was noted from his voice.

He also said that his dad, the former senator Ramon Revilla Sr., is feeling very bad about all of latest happenings in their family.

In his last statement for the interview, he said that he won't tolerate any of his siblings doings (if it will be proved them guilty) and will stick to the truth and stand up for what is right. He said that "the rule of law must prevail."
